While doing an interview for Rolling Stone magazine, Zach Galifianakis revealed what’s in store for the Wolfpack in a third Hangover. “They want to do a Hangover III,” he said. “I’m getting fricking phone calls already. Alan will be in a mental hospital with Phil and Stu tasked with helping him break out.”

One of the issues with the sequel was that it felt more like a remake than a true sequel and Phillips wants to get away from the wedding aspects of the prior two. Sound good?

Fans aren’t the only happy about the news, The Muppets themselves have “all agreed this comedy is a great fit for the holiday 2011 time frame,” Viane said. The film has an all-star cast of Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lady Gaga, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Alan Arkin, Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais and Emily Blunt. Jason Segelk and Nicholas Stoller wrote the script, and is being directed by James Bobin.

Also joining the cast is Machete himself, Donny Trejo, Jack Black, Donald Glover (Community), Jane Lynch (Glee), Ed Helms (The Hangover), Paul Rudd (Dinner For Schmucks), and Zach Galifianakis (Due Date). With a great cast, this film is looking to be a fun time.

The Muppets is scheduled to open on Christmas 2011.

The film stars Keir Gilchrist, Emma Roberts, Viola Davis, Lauren Graham, Jim Gaffigan, Zoë Kravitz, and Zach Galifianakis in an adapted film from Ned Vizzini’s 2006 novel of the same name, is the new comedy-drama from acclaimed writer/directors Ryan Fleck & Anna Boden. It’s @5:00 AM on a Sunday in Brooklyn . Craig Gilner (played by Keir Gilchrist of “United States of Tara”) is bicycling up to the entrance of a mental health clinic; this bright 16-year-old is stressed out from the demands of being a teenager. Before his parents (Lauren Graham [of “Parenthood”] and Jim Gaffigan [of “Away We Go”]) and younger sister are even awake, Craig checks himself into Argenon Hospital and is admitted by a psychiatrist. But the youth ward is temporarily closed – so he finds himself stuck in the adult ward. One of the patients, Bobby (Zach Galifianakis of “The Hangover”), soon becomes both Craig’s mentor and protégé. Craig is also quickly drawn to another 16-year-old displaced to the adult ward, the sensitive Noelle (Emma Roberts of the upcoming “Scream 4’), who just might make him forget his longtime unrequited crush Nia (Zoë Kravitz of the upcoming “Mad Max”). With a minimum five days’ stay imposed on him by the adult ward’s staff psychiatrist Dr. Eden Minerva (Academy Award nominee Viola Davis), Craig is sustained by friendships on both the inside and the outside as he learns more about life, love, and the pressures of growing up.

“Operation: Endgame centers around two rival teams of government assassins, who work out of a top-secret underground facility and use code names from the Tarot deck. The story is centered on Tim (Rudd), a rising executive who “succeeds” in finding the perfect guest, IRS employee Barry (Carell), for his boss’s monthly event, a so-called “dinner for idiots,” which offers certain advantages to the exec who shows up with the biggest buffoon. Dinner for Schmucks comes out in theaters everywhere on July 23rd under Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks SKG and Spyglass Entertainment.:

There’s a lot of talk that “The Hangover II” is going to Thailand.

I don’t know. There’s a lot of rumors. There was rumor also that it was going to Mexico or something and neither are true.

When are you starting to film “Hangover II”?

1^st. That’s what we’re trying, but you know a lot of it has to do with Ed Helm’s office schedule and Bradley Cooper’s other movies. Right now our goal is to start shooting November 1^st.

There’s still no word as to what exactly the script is going to be about. Like previously stated, stars Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Heather Graham are all coming back to reprise their roles in the sequel. The Hangover 2 is currently set for a to-be-announced 2011 release date.

The story follows an ordinary guy (Rudd) who lives in a world where people’s lives and destinies are being written by scribes in Heaven. The man wakes up one day to find that his heavenly writer (Galifianakis) has decided to no longer draft his life, and he must go about his day unscripted, ending up on a journey to fulfill his hidden potential (THR).

Producing will be Will Ferrell along with Gary Sanchez on a script penned by Demetri Martin. The feature was originally supposed to be handled by DreamWorks but for some reason ended up moving over to Paramount. If you want to take a look at Galifianakis right now, go to the theaters and see him in Youth in Revolt or wait until he co-stars along with Robert Downey Jr. in Due Date.

While his trailer trash parents teeter on the edge of divorce, Nick Twisp sets his sights on dream girl Sheeni Saunders, hoping that she’ll be the one to take away his virginity. Directed by Miguel Arteta, Youth in Revolt comes out in theaters on January 8th, 2010. Here is the clip below from Cinema Blend.:

The Flick:

Guinea pig spies, those three words pretty much sum up the entire plot of the new Disney flick that is raked it in at the box office, and will more than likely do the same now that it’s on DVD and Blu-ray. When a scruffy scientist (Zach Galifianakis) and his team of talking guinea pig spies uncover a plot to take over the world they rise to the challenge. Saber (Bill Nighy), a billionaire appliance mogul is going to unleash “Clusterstorm,” a microchip that can turn any household appliance into a killing machine. So G-Force (the guinea pig spies) have to overcome obstacle after obstacle in order to save the world.

The film is a pretty standard children’s movie, combining live action and 3D effects that prepare our offspring for the action extravaganzas they’ll be able to experience when they’re older. All of the characters are pretty standard and adhere so closely to racial stereotypes that for a brief moment it felt like I was watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. There’s an African American guinea pig and a Mexican guinea pig and they are so stereotypical that it quickly becomes annoying.

On a positive note the digital animation is stellar. The rodents are amazingly rendered and seamlessly inserted into the film. The voice cast is solid as well and director Hoyt Yeatman did a fine job of bringing these super rodents to life.

And since this is a Disney production there are a few moral messages woven neatly into the plot of the flick. The first one is of course drives home the fact that family is extremely important. With family on your side anything is possible. The second message is that everyone, no matter how small, is special in their own way.

G-Force is one of the best, albeit standard guinea pig spy movies I’ve ever seen. If your a parent your kids are gonna think it’s a killer film.

The Blu-ray

Audio/Video

The audio was stellar! All of the explosions and sound effects sounded wonderful on my home theatre system. The video was pretty solid as well, the blacks were a little crushed, but overall the flick looked crisp and clear.

Special Features

Cine-Explore: An impressive picture-in-picture commentary that comes complete with featurettes and explanations from director Hoyt Yeatman. Solid and worth watching.

Bruckheimer Animated: A look at all the CG work Bruckheimer has used in his films throughout the years. I didn’t care for this feature, but I’m sure Bruckheimer fans are gonna dig it.

Access Granted: Bruckheimer and Yeatman give viewers a tour of the animation studio. I enjoyed this feature more than I thought I would, definitely worth checking out.

G-Farce: I really enjoyed this feature which illustrates the voice actors mistakes without their 3D counterparts anywhere in sight.

Music Videos: Terrible music videos that took away a little of my soul. My kids really liked this feature, go figure.

Blaster’s Boot Camp: Blaster gives possible future agents the lowdown on how to become a member of a team like G-force.

G-Force Mastermind: A detailed account of the films origins brought to you by director Hoyt Yeatman. Worth watching.
