Underneath Buena Vista Pictures, the film gained a huge amount of popularity and had the goods to warrant a sequel for awhile. Rumors of said phantom scripts that almost got the green light have come and gone, but now they’re finally laid to rest. Robert Zemeckis, director of the upcoming animated feature “A Christmas Carol” for Walt Disney Pictures sat down with MTV Movies Blog and gave them the low-down on the status of the could-be project.:
