Plan B has their hands full for the rest of the year with dishing out the films under their slate. On August 13th we’ll see Julia Roberts grace the screen once more in the drama Eat Pray Love. Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life, starring the talents of Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, is in the middle of post production with a yet to be announced release date.

As previously stated in an earlier report, the Countess (Lovelace, played by Deschanel) was an English writer chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage’s early mechanical general-purpose computer, the analytical engine. Her notes on the engine include what is recognized as the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine; as such she is often regarded as the world’s first computer programmer.

Crudup will next be appearing in Eat Pray Love this August 13th, co-starring alongside Julia Roberts, James Franco and Javier Bardem. Toby Jones is set to be in the upcoming comedy Your Highness with Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride, Natalie Portman and James Franco. The David Gordon Green picture is slated to come out in theaters on October 1rst.

The Help is currently being written for the big screen by Tate Taylor off the novel by Kathryn Stockett. The story, set in Jackson, Miss., in the early 1960s, explores how the unspoken code of behavior governing Southern households is shattered when an aspiring writer interviews a maid, who speaks candidly about her experiences. The interview sets off shock waves that reverberate across the entire community (Variety).

Viola is going to appear in a few films within the remainder of this year, a couple of them being Knight and Day, Eat Pray Love and It’s Kind of a Funny Story.

For those of you who do not remember, Tony Scott has directed several other films which include The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, Man on Fire and Deja Vu. He also does his fair share of producing under his Scott Free banner, especially on upcoming films like Cyrus, Welcome to the Rileys and the upcoming summer picture The A-Team.

You can see all three of these actors appear on the big screen in their own separate films this summer. With Mickey Rourke, you can see him duke it out against Robert Downey Jr. in the Marvel Studios feature Iron Man 2. Jason Statham is blasting away in the new Sylvester Stallone action bonanza The Expendables and Javier Bardem is part of the cast for the upcoming drama Eat Pray Love.

The rest of the cast includes Javier Bardem, James Franco, Billy Crudup and many more. The script is written by Murphy and Jennifer Salt on the book written by Elizabeth Gilbert. Produced by Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner under Pitt’s Plan B banner, the picture comes out under Columbia Pictures on August 13th. Watch the trailer below.:

Red Om Films was behind a fair number of projects, the most recent release of theirs being “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl”. Julia Roberts is in the middle of fillming “Eat, Pray, Love” which is a book from author Elizabeth Gilbert based off of her own exploration around the world after a painful divorce. “Eat, Pray, Love” is set to be released sometime around 2010.
