Bereavement

Horror fans have been quietly awaiting this one. Malevolence was all sorts of awesome, and still is underrated to this day, especially since slashers like Laid to Rest, Hatchet, and Saw grab all the headlines. Early word is that it is well worth the wait. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)   Jon says: Buy    Donny says: Rent

Children of the Corn: Genesis

A new sequel to the classic Nebraskan terror tale, yet can it offer us something new or good, that countless sequels and a few remakes haven’t? We’re always hopeful… (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)   Jon says: Rent    Donny says: Rent

The Norwegian Ninja

We haven’t met a festival audience that didn’t love this little crazed flick. All ass-kicking? Sounds fine here! (Formats: DVD only)   Jon says: Rent    Donny says: Buy

X

A dark, psychological look at the underbelly of a city’s prostitution ring. More mature audiences only. (Formats: DVD only)    Jon says: Rent     Donny says: Buy

BKO: Bangkok Knockout

This film proves no Tony Jaa? No problem (although we cannot wait for Jaa to return). (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)    Jon says: Buy    Donny says: Buy

Donny Broussard

I enjoy the types of films that used to dominate late night television in the '80s, spending time with my family, filmmaking, photography, Rubik's Cubes, Diet Pepsi, building old Shogun Warriors model kits, Canon cameras, comic books, AOR, coconut ice cream, mac & cheese, cold pizza, popcorn, nachos, UL Football tailgating, film festivals, reading, Barry Manilow (don't ask), films with both Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase in them, Alf, Pac Man, 1979 Trans AMs, beer, Godzilla, Hooters (both the restaurant and ones girls like to keep hidden), and Bigfoot (he's real). I'm just saying.
