Late Night Classics Podcast #1
After much debate, I have come to the realization that Late Night Classics needs a facelift. Nothing extremely drastic, but something to spice things up a little. Change is always a good thing, and after completing 60 retrospectives and 55 interviews, I can’t think of a better time for some ch-ch-ch-changes.
Everyone and their mother is doing a podcast, so I wanted this to be as different as possible. Almost two years after I began this column, I want more involvement from the Killer Film staff and the fans; this needs to be an interactive experience. These retrospectives have, and always will be, for the FANS! Killer Film owner Donny Broussard and myself are cut from the same cloth. We both grew up on the crazy cinema of the 80′s and 90′s, which I think comes across in spades as we both will be headlining the podcast version of Late Night Classics. Think of us as a modern Siskel & Ebert, except we are here to have a good time and wax nostalgic on old school favorites. Check out the cast, as well as a clip and TV Spot for the movie.

Awesome job guys! Love the shots at my co hosts, that was hilarious! Man I really need to see J and H together again, sounds like a cool flick. Also I’m a huge fan of Elvira! Love what you guys were saying about her and the respect that she deserves. I met her at Comic Con a few years back she was such delight and down to earth. Mad respect guys! Keep up the good work.

Maybe we can get Elvira for a retrospective on ELVIRA: MISTRESS OF THE DARK.
Dude I would love to see The Monster Squad on the big screen! If you got Elvira to do a retrospective that would be the greatest thing since slice bread!

THE MONSTER SQUAD has played at both THE NEW BEVERLY and AERO THEATRE in the last few years, sometimes teamed up with NIGHT OF THE CREEPS. If it happens again I’ll give you a holla.
