Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You: Special Edition – DVD Review
Who doesn’t love Winnie the Pooh? The cute and cuddly bear has been at the forefront of children’s entertainment since 1966. A landmark character that warms the hearts of families the world over. Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You carries on the tradition of the classic Pooh series and does it with class.
The animation on this Pooh adventure is stunningly beautiful and is only matched by the smart writing that brings the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood alive.
In Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You, Pooh and the gang are thrown into a tizzy after reading a valentine that their friend Christopher Robin wrote to a girl. The gang thinks that if Christopher Robin is smitten with the girl that he’ll lose interest in them. So they set out to find a smitten of their own in order to win Christopher Robin’s love.
I’ve loved Pooh since I was a child, my kis love Pooh, and obviously many, many people the world over love him as well. Although the last few Pooh adventures have been stale, I assure anyone reading this that Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You is anything but, it’s a killer film if I’ve ever seen one.

Special Features
Un-Valentine’s Day: A solid episode taken from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh that has Rabbit putting a ban on Valentine’s Day. I enjoyed this episode a lot, but it’s not even close to as awesome as Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You.
My Hero: Another Episode from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh has Piglet working hard to save a lost kite. I enjoyed this episode as well, but my kids really loved it and that’s what matters.
Catch the Love Bug: A game that allows viewers to use the DVD remote to catch a lightning bug in a jar. My kids loved this game.
