Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – Review
Â
Michael Bay is AWESOME! That’s right I said it. I figured it would be best if I got that out of my system early. Being both a Michael Bay fan and a Transformers fanatic I was stoked to see Revenge of the Fallen. So I headed out of the house early to try and get good seats at the midnight showing in my humble town of Lafayette, Louisiana. Good thing I did leave early, otherwise I would have been sitting neck up in the first row instead of enjoying my favorite spot on the top row. Anyway, I got their early, picked up my popcorn, found my seat, and watched as the theatre filled to maximum capacity. Finally after about 35 minutes or so the lights went down and the awesome sounds of the Transformers enhanced the Paramount logo.  I’m probably not the best person to be reviewing this flick because not only am I a Bay and Transformers fan, I am also head over heals in lust with Megan Fox. In my book she can do no wrong, because when your a hot as Megan Fox just being on screen is a treat for the rest of the world (girls included). This time around Mikaela (Megan Fox) and Sam (Shia LaBeouf) are in a transition period. Sam is off to college and poor Mikaela is going to stay behind and look hot while leaning over motorcycles in ultra short shorts. But it doesn’t take long for Sam’s plans for a normal life to be thwarted by the dastardly Decepticons. This time around there are many different types of Decepticons, including a stupid hot humanoid with a great ass, and they are all on a mission to bring Megatron back to life so that he can reinstate the reign of the Fallen. Â
The Fallen is an evil Decepticon that is sort of the Emperor to Megatron’s Vader and he has been waiting for centuries to take his revenge upon the Earth and the Autobots. Only he wasn’t expecting Sam to enter the picture. He overlooked the fact that Sam’s girlfriends is Mikaela (Megan Fox) and with a girlfriend like that you do whatever it takes to save the world so that you can continue to sleep with her. Never underestimate the power of a man’s libido.
Overall I found Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to be awesome! The only thing that bugged me about the flick were the Autobot twins that obviously watched to many Master P videos and old episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Megan looked smoking hot, the Transformers themselves were killer, and as always with a Bay film the explosions were plentiful. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was most definitely a killer film. See the flick because you want nothing more than a good time at the movies and you won’t be disappointed. I’m not going to make any apologies for my Michael Bay love. The guy doesn’t make excuses for his flicks and that in itself is AWESOME! Bad or good, Bay is the mother f**king man.

Good review. Do the twins really come off as racist?

They don’t come off as racist, but they are portrayed as goofy robots from the hood. It’s comic relief, but it didn’t work like it should have in my opinion.

Well I haven’t seen the film…yet, but I have heard people say they were offended by the way they were portrayed.

I wasn’t offended by it’s stereotyping that for sure. We lost all of our readers now, outside of Matt b/c Donny’s love for Bay
Do I sense a bit of a man-crush? hmmmm, anyways good review I’ll check it out soon
