It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Its A Very Sunny Christmas – DVD Review
As a successful TV series for some time now, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has finally released a Christmas special. Mac and Charlie venture out to spread the Christmas spirit to the rest of the gang while discovering their own disappointing childhood Christmas stories. At the same time, Dennis and Dee try to change Frank’s scheming and pranks that he pulls on them every year. It’s the Christmas that we all would like to watch and dream about.
When I reviewed the TV series about a month ago, I had nothing but great things to say about it. The Christmas movie is more of the same uncensored hilarity that lured me to the series initially. There was not only that, but the movie also contained the very strange and hilarious twists that you can only make up. The chemistry between the crew is still at its best to complete a very successful Christmas special.
Special Features:
The features that add to the hilarity of the the DVD are some deleted scenes of a young Charlie and a young Mac as kids, a behind the scenes making of the movie, and a Sunny sing-a-long The behind the scenes contains interviews with some of the cast talking about their favorite Christmas memories and the work being put in. The sing-a-long is a collection of the cast singing different Christmas jingles, both weird and not weird.
Conclusion:
I truly enjoy Christmas specials and especially the ones that are hilarious. Definite must have.
