Chinese Kamasutra – DVD Review
Joe D’Amato (who goes under the pseudonym Chang Lee Sun) is at it again showing an abundance of softcore sex in this 1993 film. Joan Parker (Georgia Emerald) is a shy British librarian who has a sexual awakening after coming across the Chinese Kama Sutra, a compendium of Chinese classics on lovemaking. These texts are among the earliest treatises on the topic known to humanity, and are the only ones known to address the fundamental role of sexuality in promoting health and healing. Before you know it she is masturbating like a pro, experiencing wild fantasies and having regular orgies with a Kama Sutra cult – whose leader could be mistaken for Manny Pacquiao. This lady has my heart with all the energy she has. Watch out Emmanuelle!
Okay, let’s be honest, these types of movies are beyond critical review. They are about how much T & A they can display while trying to act like there is an actual story. D’Amato delivers some decent “spank” material, but instead of being exciting, there is a case of deja vu to the assorted sex scenes. Don’t get me wrong my fellow perverts, all the places men like to visit are on display, yet sadly, Chinese Kamasutra is a big old dick tease that should make you to “cum” back for more, but instead it’s just a dry hump.

Conclusion: Not much to write home about. Although the woman on the cover of the DVD looks nothing like anyone from the film, she resembles Leah Remini from The King of Queens – someone I’ve always had a big crush on. If anyone can get her to do a film like this, it is guaranteed a five star review and a spike in Vaseline sales.
