The Soloist

This was suppose to be an Oscar type of film for Joe Wright, the director and for the leads, Downey and Foxx. It was neither for any of them, as constant release date shifting pushed it away. It’s a pretty good movie, first and foremost, with solid acting from Downey, Foxx, and Kenner. Also on Blu Ray. Jon says: Rent Donny says: Rent

Mutant Chronicles

On one hand, the cast, the look, the idea was interesting, on the other, it was just a ho-hum exercise in CG film making, with a “been there, done that” climax. Also on Blu Ray. Jon says: Rent Donny says: Rent

Harvard Beats Yale 29-29
