New Release Tuesday (7-6)
Welcome to Killer Film’s New Release Tuesday for July 6th! Oh, what to buy, what to buy…or what not to buy. Before we tell you what’s being released, feel free to order from Amazon.com by clicking on the cover art.
Brooklyn’s Finest
Here’s a solid cop drama from the director of Training Day. It goes in a few directions that freshens up the old genre, just a bit, to be worth the watch. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Buy   Donny says: Buy
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Based on the mega-popular novels, here’s the first book adapted into a great Swedish film. American remake is on the way, but see this first, if anything, just for Noomi Rapace’s performance. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Buy  Donny says: Buy
A Single Man
One of the better reviewed films of last year and an Oscar nominee, finally comes home for the rest of us to see. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Rent   Donny says: Rent
Gamera vs. Barugon
Shout! Factory continues the giant-fire-breathing-turtle love with another great disc, with extras! (Formats: DVD only) Jon says: Buy   Donny says: Buy
New to Blu
Keep it here at Killer Film for more news and reviews of these discs and more!

Gamera vs. Barugon for sure!
I’m curious to see just how different the original cut of ‘Gamera vs. Barugon’ is to the Americanized version. Anyway, I hope that Shout! keeps releasing the Showa Gamera films, but ‘Destroy All Planets’ will probably be a problem for them.
They got four more they are releasing but on 2 discs soon in Sept. I think.
