My Bloody Valentine 3-D

The 3-D effects were amazing, the digital sound was superb, so for those reasons I can’t wait to test it out at home. Wonder how it will translate? The long awaited comedy is here, after an all-too-brief theatrical run. I doubt if the extras will tackle the two year controversy between the filmmakers and the Weinstein Co., but form the clips and trailers I’ve seen, this looks hilarious! Jon says: Rent Donny says: Buy

Valkyrie

I still don’t know why this film was playing the “find a release date shuffle” because its pretty good. I think there’s elements missing from making this great, but its a solid film for history and thriller fans. Also on Blu Ray. Jon says: Rent Donny says: Rent

Paul Blart: Mall Cop

One of 2009′s biggest box office returns is here and I’m still dumbfounded as to why. Maybe it was the recession was just starting and people wanted escapism. I doubt if any of our beloved readers were dumb enough to see it…right? Also on Blu Ray. Jon says: Avoid Donny says: Rent

True Blood: Season 1

Filling the void of vampire TV shows, since Buffy and Angel are gone, here’s the mega popular show finally on DVD.
