Get Smart

It was mildly amusing, causing a few laughs, but ultimately it’s quite forgettable. Personally, I think you can do with a rental but the disc is stacked with extras and it’s also on Blu Ray.

Trans Siberian

**PICK OF THE WEEK** This is a solid thriller starring Ben Kingsley and Emily Mortimer and I highly recommend this film, directed by Brad Anderson of Session 9 and Machinist fame. Also on Blu Ray.

When Did You Last See Your Father?

A heartfelt and sorrow laden film, but worth it if you seek good acting and drama, this came and went during the busy summer months, but I can easily say seek it out.

Futurama: Bender’s Game

More Futurama fun, but as much as I loved the series I just can’t get into the films. Also on Blu Ray-nice touch.

Batman-The Animated Series Complete Collection

This is a cool set. I know if you’re a fan, you probably already got these sets but this comes with a cool collector’s book full of sketches and whatnot.

New to Blu

A Christmas Story

Even though this plays every holiday season repeatedly on TNT and it has been on Blu Ray before, this is a great box set full of goodies.

Planet of the Apes

Oh. Hell. Yeah. My favorite science-fiction film ever comes to Blu! As well as its sequels! You can buy them individually or in a box set.

Superman: Doomsday

This was actually released Sunday, November 02, 2008, FYI.
