Let Me In
Dark, beautiful, intriguing, Matt Reeves’ remake of the Swedish modern classic Let the Right One In proved that many we should sometimes let up on remakes. It’s damn good, if not great, as it made both Donny and I’s Top Films of 2010 lists. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Buy   Donny says: Buy
Hatchet II
The fight for unrated horror was just too much for AMC Theaters who originally supported Adam Green’s unrated gorefest, only to pull it within a day or two after opening weekend release. So most horror fans were unable to see this follow-up. Horror fans that did either loved it or hated it. Time to find out! (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Rent   Donny says: Buy
Monsters
Personally, I’m tired of these new films that deal with a sci-fi invasion that the military has quarantined. District 9. Skyline. The upcoming Battle: Los Angeles. But from those who’ve seen it, they tell me it’s beyond great. Hyped much? I remember seeing a promo on Best Buy’s TVs. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Rent   Donny says: Buy
Never Let Me Go
This film went under a lot of people’s radar, but critics claimed it features an intriguing clone concept and is worth our time. Okay. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Rent   Donny says: Rent
New to Blu
That does it for this week, and as always keep it here for reviews of these discs and more, only on Killer Film!

LET ME IN is on the way to my house as we speak. One of the best remakes I’ve ever seen.
HATCHET II will be a part of my collection sometime soon, once I get money.
If I didn’t see MONSTERS yet, I might blind buy it, but it was ok at best. It had some good parts, but I’d give it a 3 out of 5.
NEVER LET ME GO is about to be added to my Netflix.
Gonna rent MONSTERS and LET ME IN. Hopefully, MONSTERS doesn’t disappointment. I want to like Gareth Edwards now that he’s directing GODZILLA.
Thinking about getting Let Me In, keep reading/hearing about how good this remake is.
Also want Pleasantville and Hatchet II.
I have LET ME IN, MONSTERS, and CHAIN LETTER coming from Netflix.
