Killer Film loved this movie, and maybe not just for the simple explanation. It was a fun, 1980s horror-comedy throwback, made with some feminist attitudes-a rarity in horror. Of course, everyone else hated it for Diablo Cody’s dialogue (I’m calling it Juno backlash) and Megan Fox (I’m calling that jealousy). See for yourselves. Paranormal Activity

The little horror film that could, is all legit in its scariness. I triple dog-dare you to turn off your lights and the cell phones, and watch this at midnight. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD)  Jon says: Buy   Donny says: Rent

A Perfect Getaway

Carriers

This forgotten film barely saw anything of a release theatrically, despite the casting of Star Trek‘s Chris Pine. This is a cross between The Crazies and 28 Weeks Later apparently. (Formats: DVD only) Jon says: Rent   Donny says: Rent

The Marine 2

The WWE still has some sort of film branch, and while they don’t make atrocious films, they are served better on home video than theatrically. Fans, this is for you, all others need not apply. (Formats: Blu-ray/DVD) Jon says: Avoid  Donny says: Rent
