New Release Tuesday

Welcome back to New Release Tuesday for December 9^th! Yes, today is all about The Dark Knight, but it’s a decent week too. Let’s look at the releases. By the way, you can order through Amazon by clicking the cover art.

The Dark Knight

**PICK OF THE WEEK** Get the Blu Ray if you have the option, but get the film regardless of which format you have. I sill can’t stop gushing over the film. Probably my favorite film of the year.

Horton Hears a Who!

Took a while but it finally comes to DVD and Blu Ray. I think Jim Carrey was misacted but it’s a decent animated film. Worth a look.

Man on Wire

If it wasn’t for The Dark Knight this would be my pick of the week. It’s a marvelous documentary about the artistic crime of the century and a haunting tribute to the World Trade Centers.

I am Legend Ultimate Collector’s Edition

I don’t know why, outside of being a year old this week that they chose to re-release it. Now, I enjoyed the film but there’s not much offered here outside of a new commentary track and a book to rebuy.

Europa: Criterion Collection

Don’t know much about this film, but it’s on Criterion’s label making it an easy rental at least.
