Chris Sharp’s Halloween Watch List

Submitted by Donny Broussard on October 14, 2009 – 9:53 am4 Comments

Chris Sharp is probably best know as the awesome Brown Knight in the amazing horror flick Murder Party, and he was nice enough to share his list of favorite Halloween flicks to watch during this awesome season. So check out his list below and be sure to leave him some love in the comments. Check back tomorrow for another Murder Party cast watch list.

5. The Thing (John Carpenter’s): For the sheer cool, spooky, paranoia factor of it all.

4. An American Werewolf in London: Perfectly mixes the mood of campy fun and solid scary moments. A timeless classic that I can watch every year.

3. The Exorcist: Pound for pound one of the scariest and best made movies of all time. Few have come close since.

2. Fright Night: A perfect Halloween movie with its goofy/fun blend of teen yearning, classic horror love, and gory violence. Perfectly captures the Halloween mood without being about Halloween itself.

1. Halloween (The original, Rob Zombie is the Halloween equivalent of Highlander 2…it never happened): What, it’s called Halloween!

O no! Show Rob Zombie some love for taking such an iconic movie and staying true but adding a great storyline to it! I think you really missed on that call. But I do enjoy all of your other choices!

I agree with Chris on Halloween, but the best thing about that film was Danille Harris and Scout Taylor-Compton.
