New Release Tuesday
It’s October and another New Release Tuesday! With Halloween a few weeks away, most of these weeks to come will have some reissues and new horror titles, but there’s plenty this week so let’s look at them!
The Happening
Bah! More M. Night crap. Seriously, do not attempt to see this. Don’t believe me? Read our review. Also as crappy in Blu Ray.

Sleeping Beauty 50th Anniversary
It’s the first catalogue title for Disney on Blu Ray and will feature a new feature called Disney Live an online way to enjoy the film with games and activities. You can also have family and friends watch the BD with you! Plus the transfer should be amazing!

Rob Zombie’s Halloween
I kind of liked the film, plus Scout, Danielle, and Kristin is all smoking, but this reissue includes a third disc carrying a massive 3 plus hour documentary on the making of the film. Should be riveting, but all other extras were on the previous 2-disc last year. Also on Blu Ray.

Faces of Death (2-disc Special Edition)
One of horror’s taboo films to watch gets an awesome new disc with commentary, documentary, interviews and a Blu Ray! Are you tough enough to watch this? Look for our review soon!

Psycho-Legacy Edition
The slasher classic gets a new 2-disc special edition filled with a ton of extras and for the first time, a new 16×9 enhanced transfer! A must buy!

Vertigo-Legacy Edition
Just like “Psychoâ€, new special edition with a ton of extras. Another must own!

Touch of Evil-Legacy Edition
** PICK OF THE WEEK** Finally, Orson Welles vision can be seen! Featuring a ton of new extras, but more importantly is a new reconstructed cut matching notes Welles had for Universal after they cut the film to their means. This is a pivotal release historically.

The Visitor
I be damned if Jenkins isn’t nominated for this film. It’s a wonderful little film that is well worth seeing. Also on Blu Ray.

You Don’t Mess with the Zohan
Donny hated it, I sorta liked it. A ton of extras, check out Donny’s Blu Ray review.

7th Voyage of Sinbad-50th Anniversary Edition
Seriously, is there anything better than a Ray Harryhausen fantasy film? A nice new edition for this classic film of stop-motion animation! Also on Blu Ray.

Rear Window-Legacy Edition
Man are we lucky to have 3 Hitch films released as a new 2-disc edition, so go out there and get them!

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer
Fangoria Magazine loves this as do many other websites. It looks like a fun throwback to “Evil Dead†type of horror/comedies, but I’ll see soon. Look out for my review!

Feast 2: Sloppy Seconds
I know a lot of people like the first one, I never saw it. But here’s a DTV sequel for the fans.

Boy A
I just missed my chance at seeing this. I’ve heard great things about this British film about a boy who committed murder, but is rehabilitated. Something like him saving a little girl brings heat because of his past. It’s getting good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

That does it for October 7th. Plenty of great titles so I hope you have some cash! See you next week!
