Before I get started on this month’s letter I would like to address some questions that have popped up in my email lately. First, yes we love horror films and most of the flicks we review on this site are within the horror genre, but if we see a flick that we like we are definitely going to write about it on this site. Also even though we love horror we feel it is necessary to deviate from our beloved genre so that we don’t become stagnant and give our readers less than they deserve. With that said don’t expect us to ignore the real killer films.

Second, if you’re a filmmaker that has a finished flick that hasn’t gotten distribution and you want to send us a copy of your flick then we would be happy to give it a chance. Just know that we get a good bit of films to watch and review every week and it might take us a while to get to your film, but we will get to it as soon as we can. Also whatever you send us will NOT get sent back to you.

All right, now that I have those questions answered let me get to this months letter. First off this month we have some pretty cool interviews in the pipe, including the director of the indie film “Small Town Folk,” as well as an interview with the director of the kick ass flick “Murder Party.” Also we are going to be talking to “Horror Business” director, Christopher P. Garetano about documenting the horror genre and the filmmakers that call it home.

As the summer comes to and end we are gearing up for a slew of interesting theatrical releases such as “Trick or Treat,” “Resident Evil: Extinction” and some killer DVD titles like “Black Roses” and “Death Proof.” Also our favorite holiday, Halloween is just around the corner and the Killer Film crew is going to share their Halloween watch lists with everyone.

Another surprise you can expect in the coming months is the promised debut of the Killer Film Girls! Our head-bitch-in-charge, Heather Westwood is going to be bringing our readers some of the hottest ladies the horror community has ever seen. There’s nothing like smoking ladies to top off a good review and if anyone can deliver the goods its Heather Westwood.

So keep coming back to the site and keep the emails coming we love hearing from you.
