Wright gets the Source Code

Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace actor Jeffrey Wright is the latest addition to the cast for the latest Duncan Jones directed feature Source Code. This news came to light after Jones announced through the form of a “tweet” about the new casting. The picture is a sci-fi story centered on a soldier who wakes up in the body of a commuter who witnesses a train explosion. Among those in the cast already are Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga and Jake Gyllenhaal. The two penning the script are Billy Ray and Ben Ripley with Philippe Rousselet, Jordan Wynn and Mark Gordon producing.

Here’s a bit more of the details concerning each of the main characters in the film below from CS.:

Stevens (Gyllenhaal) is part of an experimental government program to investigate a terrorist incident who finds himself in the body of an unknown commuter living and reliving a harrowing train bombing until he can find out who is responsible for it.

Farmiga will play a hands-on communications officer controlling Gyllenhaal as he travels through time and space. Monaghan is a woman on the train with whom the man is involved romantically.
