Would you pay $400 for Avatar Blu-ray 3D? Someone is.

Panasonic just scored one of the biggest exclusives in the early 3D home TV market with James Cameron’s Avatar. Paired with their version of those 3D glasses is the Avatar Blu-ray 3D, which is the only way to get the 3D Blu-ray currently. With only 15 titles on 3D Blu-ray as of this writing, the biggest blockbuster nearly ever, is surely a hot selling point for the 3D TV.

Some buyers, who are getting the Panasonic 3D Plasma TV and having an interesting option. Do they keep Avatar on 3D Blu-ray or eBay it? Most are eBaying the disc because of the exclusive tag, most Blu-ray owners can’t buy the disc separtely from the 3D glasses bundle, until the exclusive tag is lifted. One seller has a buying price up at $399.99, with weeks left on the bid! Click here to see this.

If you’re wondering, the 3D Blu-ray is gorgeous. One of the better 3D Blu-ray titles I’ve personally seen in action, especially on that Panasonic model.

  1. WOW!!! I would only pay that much to get the film with the TV. However, if it’s not the exteneded cut, then I won’t even bother getting the film in 3D, even when it’s released separately.

  2. SMDH…

  3. No movie is worth $400. Only an idiot would buy it.
