Worthington in Dracula: Year Zero?

Sam Worthington is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood, especially for his role as Jake Sully in the box office monster Avatar. It’s no real surprise though that he’s being looked at to play the blood sucker in the project Dracula: Year Zero. Universal Pictures is backing up the project, slapping on it a $100 Million dollar budget pricing immediately. The film is being directed by I, Robot helmer Alex Proyas, says Latino Review.

The story is a mixed up period piece involving the vampire mythology combined with the true history of Prince Vlad tell the origin of Dracula. Universal is in the middle of showing off all sorts of promotional goodness for their upcoming monster movie The Wolfman which comes out in theaters on February 12th.
