Wonderland takes over again

Audiences still must be craving Tim Burton’s rendition of Alice in Wonderland since it managed to stay in the number one spot in this weekend’s box office. Taking in around $62 Million during it’s second weekend, the Walt Disney Pictures film has over $200 Million in it’s pocket total domestically. That’s not the case for several other features, which mainly include all four new releases that did not catch that much attention despite the star power and/or heavy marketing.

The first of those is the Paul Greengrass directed feature Green Zone, only being able to wrangle up $14.5 Million this weekend. The totals keep on getting lower as the heavily advertised She’s Out of My League brings in $9.6 Million with the Summit Entertainment film Remember Me only having $8.3 Million total. Last but not least is Our Family Wedding, making $7.6 Million on it’s first weekend. Check out the rest of the top ten below from Box Office Mojo.:

Greenberg comes out in New York and Los Angeles this weekend but will be released wide on March 26th.
