Wolverine 2 script is done

X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 currently is finished from what has been revealed to us. Christopher McQuarrie, writer of quite a few films like The Tourist and Valkyrie, originally was hired to pen the spinoff sequel and already have a finished piece ready for Twentieth Century Fox and Marvel Enterprises to work on. Hugh Jackman is already attached to the picture, no surprise there, but there is no director on the new project at the moment.

The first X-Men Origins: Wolverine film gained a good amount of it’s money back and then some box office wise, accumulating about $180 Million overall. Although the picture did not receive the best reviews, that did not stop it from achieving the money it needed to make.

Based on a story cycle by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont, Wolverine’s adventures in martial arts will be a love story featuring a Japanese actress, I am told. “It’s a beautiful story,” says a source, “and will be very different than the first film, says Showbiz 411.

There are quite a few films that are getting through the realms of development, some of those being the Bryan Singer directed X-Men: First Class, Deadpool and The First Avenger: Captain America.
