Winners for the Gotham Awards

Earlier this evening the 19th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards took place in New York City. With plenty of nominees for each category, the process quickly wrapped itself up in time for the November 30th presentation. A fair number of these films have been released through this year, though a fair number of them I have even asked other people about and a good number of them have no idea what I’m talking about. Hopefully with the kick off of the awards season with films like The Hurt Locker getting the spotlight, maybe people will take a little more interest on lesser mainstream films that are playing. Here’s the winner’s list below:
