Will some Twilight actors get the boot?

Before you start panicking, don’t you worry about the main characters. Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson are locked in for the two-part finale Breaking Dawn being directed by Bill Condon. That’s not the case for everyone unfortunately, especially with actors Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, who have become quite the names for themselves thanks to the boost of the popular series. Salary negotiations have been preventing certain actors, including those two, from coming back for the final installments of the series. If Summit Entertainment can’t get a set number with supporting actors, they will end up having no choice but to recast, which won’t go very well for some Twi-hards.

THR Esq is also throwing to us the notion that Summit is eyeing to cut the cost for Breaking Dawn by condensing it into one feature, despite how much material is in the Stephanie Meyer novel. They’ve already got a release date locked for November 18th, 2011, so they’ll have to get into production fairly quickly if they want to make the deadline.

For all of those who adore the Twilight series, would you mind seeing some of the Cullen family get recast, or would that be something that would tick you off to no end?
