Will Brad Pitt play Steve McQueen??

Submitted by Daniel Herrera on May 26, 2009 – 9:01 am2 Comments

File this under a maybe.

News of Brad Pitt working on a Steve McQueen biopic or remake of Bullitt have been swirling around for quite some time now.  Today the Examiner is stating though that Pitt himself is actually in the process of signing on for the lead role in a McQueen biopic now as opposed to the Bullitt remake (which I would have preferred).  The only question now is if Pitt is right for the role.   No doubt Pitt is a talented actor but McQueen was more well known as a rugged handsome actor and less of a pretty boy the way Pitt is.  McQueen was the king of cool and still holds place in a cinephiles heart with his work in Bullitt and The Great Escape.

RESEMBLANCE ??
