Who will claw into the role of Black Cat?

Submitted by Melissa Molina on November 10, 2009 – 12:26 am2 Comments

black_catComing Soon and Mania are reporting that the hunt in on to find the perfect fit of a woman to don the character of Black Cat/Felicia Hardy for director Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4. The top runner for this role at the moment is Sherlock Holmes actress Rachel McAdams. Below is an excerpt of text from actress Romola Garai on her recent audition.

This is the acting equivalent of the London Marathon in that it’s important to try your best as long as you understand that you aren’t going to win.”

What do you think? Do you believe that McAdams is a shoe-in for the role of the sexy Black Cat? Or do you think she’s not out of the woods yet if Romola Garai is auditioning as well? Let us know what you think.
