carol-ferrisMartin Campbell’s The Green Lantern is starting to generate buzz once again as five ladies are announced who could be co-starring along with Ryan Reynolds in the newest DC Comics adaptation. The gals are being eyeballed to play Carol Ferris, the daughter of aerospace mogul Carl Ferris. She works for her dad’s company FERRIS AIR, got an MBA, and has a lifetime crush on Hal Jordan (Latino Review). In the comics, Ferris inevitably becomes Star Sapphire and goes to battle against the Green Lantern. Among the prospects are Eva Green, Keri Russell, Diane Kruger, Jennifer Garner and Blake Lively.

The Green Lantern is being penned by Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim with Berlanti and Donald De Line producing. The feature, under Warner Bros Pictures and DC Comics, is expected to come out in theaters on June 17th, 2010. Which of these beauties should be co-starring alongside Ryan Reynolds?
