Whiteley’s character in Transformers 3 revealed?

Ever since the departure of Megan Fox was from Transformers 3, many fans have been upset. It was made worse after the news that Bay hired Victoria Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was revealed. There hasn’t been anything revealed about her character,  other than she won’t replace Fox as Mikela Banes.

Michael Bay’s forum administrator, Nelson has supposedly revealed the name of Whiteley’s character. He doesn’t reveal much, but does say “I personally like Carly, I mean, Rosie.” This is only speculation of course, and could just be a way to get fans talking.

In the animated series, Carly was a love-interest for Sam Witwicky, which led to marriage, then the birth of Daniel Witwicky. This could be a way to please the fans, who have been upset with Bay’s handling of the franchise. Whiteley’s character is supposedly going to be a business woman, which was what Bay had intended Fox to be in the film. There’s still no word on how the absence of Fox’s character will be explained.

Transformers 3 will open in 2-D and 3-D on July 1, 2011.
