Whitaker finds a Little Treasure

Forest Whitaker is in the middle of talks to star in the feature Little Treasure from Belltower and Amalgamation Entertainment. The script focuses on the couple dealing with prejudices, humor, cultural differences and self-discovery while meeting a Shanghai street kid who changes their lives (Variety). American Dreams writer Josh Goldstein is penning the script to the independent drama. Michael D. Olmos is attached to direct the feature, his previous credits being The Last Winter and Splinter.

You can see Whitaker already on the big screen co-starring with Carlos Mencia in Our Family Wedding. Then he will appear in another film on the big screen this Friday, co-starring with Jude Law in the Universal Pictures feature Repo Men.
