Whelan and Waters get a Hall Pass
Derek Waters and Nicky Whelan sign up to be in the latest Farrelly brothers directed comedy called Hall Pass. The script, written by Bobby and Peter Farrelly along with Kevin Barnett and Pete Jones, is about a married man is granted the opportunity to have an affair by his wife. Joined in the fun by his best pal, things get a little out of control when both wives start engaging in extramarital activities as well. Already part of the cast is Owen Wilson, Jenna Fischer and Amanda Bynes.
In her first major feature role, the Australia-born Whelan will play Leigh, who tempts Owen Wilson’s wandering husband after he’s given a “free pass” by his wife. Waters will play Wannabe, a barista/DJ who becomes an obstacle to the pairing (THR). The film is produced by Mark Charpentier, Bradley Thomas and Charles B. Wessler. Filming for this New Line Cinema flick already started this Tuesday in Atlanta, Georgia.
