What is Scary? A doc is looking into it
What is Scary? is a new independent documentary that is aiming to answer that very question. Director Adam Barnick explains: “I set up a voicemail a while back and invited people to call in and answer one question: “What is scary?” And I’ve been taking the answers, marrying them to pictures and creating this visual journey, like something that would be playing on the wall in an art gallery. Talking to folks in and out of horror to see what they have in common, what their differences are, and truly examine what ‘scary’ is.”
He’s currently finishing the film in hopes of festival play next Fall, but until then, here’s the trailer:
