Vin Diesel will be The Wheelman

After the success of his hit video game by the same name, The Wheelman is now being made into a feature film with Vin Diesel starring as the titular character.   Wheelman is being directed by Oscar nominee John Singleton and scripted by Rich Wilkes whose previous credits include The Jerky Boys and  and Airheads.

The film is the latest attempt for Paramount Studios to keep Vin Diesel behind the wheel of a fast car to ensure the Fast and Furious crowd will come in droves again.  Now, while simple in premise the film tells the story of an expert driver (Diesel) who comes out of retirement to save a young woman whom he used to know in his past.
