Victoria Secret model joins the crew of Battleship
Michael Bay won’t be the only one casting a Victoria Secret model in an upcoming movie. The director has taken a lot of criticism for casting Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as the new love interest in Transformers 3, but he may have started a trend. Peter Berg has cast Victoria Secret and 2010 Sports Illustrated model in Battleship.
According to Heat Vision, Brooklyn Decker has been cast in the role of Sam in the film based off Hasbro’s board game. Much like Whiteley in Transformers 3, Decker will playing the love interest to Taylor Kitsch’s (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) character. Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) and R&B singer Rihanna will also be starring in the film.
Battleship is scheduled to open in May 2012.
