Venom might have a director

With Gary Ross doing a rewrite on Spider-Man 4 for Sony Pictures, they seem be very pleased with it, so much so, that he might be the Venom director. As soon as he finishes the Spidey script, he will be rewriting the Venom script, and starting on that film.

With Spider-Man 3 completely ruining the character, the intention is to reboot everything, so don’t look for Topher Grace to pose as Venom anymore. More on this story, as it develops.

  1. I just hope that this film brings in a better version of Venom than the one in “Spider-man 3″. I wonder if they are gonna tie this film in with the Spider-man series despite it being a reboot of the character.

  2. I wonder too. No word yet, but hopefully, Venom will drool like in the comics! Maybe go with the other Venom person, not Eddie Brock? But Venom works better as a villain, IMO.

In the film Grace played Eddie Brock, JR. So instead of him coming back they could bring in an older Eddie Brock.

  3. I don’t mind Venom as an anti-hero, but he does come off as cooler when hes a villain.
