Vaughn makes a Bloodshot

Stardust and Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn continues to keep himself within the realm of comic book adapted feature as he latches on to helm Bloodshot, reports Latino Review. The Valiant Comics creation by Kevin VanHook is a powerful character, an ultimate killing machine of sorts that goes on a rampage against evils like the mob in order to figure out who exactly he is. Penning the script is Vaughn along with Jane Goldman. No word yet on when filming will be scheduled to start at the moment.

Vaughn’s latest comic book adapted feature Kick-Ass stars Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Mark Strong. The Lionsgate feature comes out in theaters everywhere this April 16th.
