Van Sant and Ellis work a suicide saga

Gus Van Sant, the skilled Oscar nominated director of such films as Milk, Elephant, and Good Will Hunting, is teaming up with controversial author Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho) for a feature film on the double suicides of artists Jeremy Blake and Theresa Duncan.

The story from which they are working on is from a Variety article called “The Golden Suicides”. This could be an interesting project, in my opinion.
