Uwe Boll goes for the jugular with Auschwitz
Truly disturbing stuff here folks, and it’s all the more creepy as Dr. Boll cameos as a German officer. Uwe has strayed away from video game adaptions and has been tackling real life horrors as of late. Here is the teaser for his newest film, Auschwitz.

I’m going to play devil’s advocate here, and being Jewish I feel I can since this effects me personally. There are Germans who are just as disgusted with what happened, and maybe Uwe is one of them. At the end of the teaser it says “Never Forget” which to me looks like he is putting blame on the Nazis, where it belongs. This trailer is going to cause huge amounts of controversy and hate before people look at the facts of why he made the movie. The trailer was hard to watch, but I want to see his explanation before I jump to conclusions and call him an evil man that should burn on Hell.
Stephen Speilberg also made a movie about the death camps, but it’s ok because he’s Jewish. SHINDLER’S LIST was one of the hardest movies that anyone can watch, but I don’t remember much controversy. There might have been, I was young at the time.
Dude, it’s Uwe Boll. You can’t compare Schlinder’s List to Boll’s Auschwitz. SS demands respect, Boll hasn’t earned any respect in the industry. He’s being exploitive for a hit. Don’t over think it.
