Updated: Possible title change for Saw 7

Updated: According to Coming Soon/Shock, there was some odd confusion about the title of October 22nd’s Saw 7. The Traps Comes Alive is NOT the title, but the tag line for the film. The film will be called just simply Saw 3D.

Lionsgate’s Saw 7 will be making an appearance with cast and crew at Comic-Con in San Diego this year, but don’t look for it as Saw 7 or Saw VII or Saw VII 3D. No, looks like Kevin Greutert was right on highlighting the sensationalism of the film, a proposed final film in the long-running franchise. Look for the film to be titled: Saw 3D The Traps Come Alive. This title can be seen in press material for the Con.

The film will be released October 22nd, 2011.
