Two turn themselves onto a Bad Teacher

Jason Segel and John Michael Higgins are the latest to join the cast of the upcoming picture Bad Teacher. They are the latest in the cast that already includes Lucy Punch and Cameron Diaz. The Columbia Pictures film is a comedy centered around a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague — a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher. Jake Kasdan serves as director for the raunchy comedy that’s written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

Segel plays not the model teacher, who is not yet cast, but rather the gym teacher. Higgins plays the principal, a man named Wally Snur (THR). Bad Teacher, being produced by Jimmy Miller, is locked in to start principal photography in Los Angeles next month.
