Two go for the Change Up
No, were not talking baseball right here, but instead were talking about Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds who both signed on to-costar in Change Up. The Universal Pictures comedy is directed by David Dobkin, who’s other credits include Fred Claus and Wedding Crashers.
This story is a male-centric take on the genre, centering on a responsible family man (Bateman) who switches bodies with his best friend, a lazy man-child (Reynolds) (THR). The script was written by Scott Moore and Jon Lucas, who both collaborated together to write The Hangover.
Reynolds is totally the hot actor at the moment, already in the midst of production of Martin Campbell’s The Green Lantern and is expected to be back on the big screen later on this year in the Sundance Film Festival feature Buried. Bateman can next be seen co-starring alongside Jennifer Aniston, Patrick Wilson and Juliette Lewis in the romantic comedy The Switch this late August.
