True Blood coming to the big screen?
It looks like HBO’s hit TV-series, True Blood, will be could be making that transition from small screen to big screen. The show has become a hit since its debut 2008, and has offered fans of the vampire genre a relief from the ever popular Twilight films. With the conclusion of its 3rd season, a full length film may be in the works.
According to What’s Playing, HBO is talking about the possibility of a film adaptation of the adult-oriented series. Work would most likely won’t begin until after it’s another season or two, but Alan Ball is looking at this as his directorial debut. True Blood is also known for its adult-oriented content, and would be subject to the rating system, which hasn’t restricted the series.
