Tron Legacy writers go to Ouija

Submitted by Melissa Molina on November 2, 2009 – 11:15 amOne Comment

ouija-board-gameAdam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are jumping off their light cycles and messing with spirits as they get onboard to pen the new “Ouija” movie. Universal Pictures is finally chugging along with their new board game property with Michael Bay’s Plantinum Dunes attached. Bay will produce along with Andrew Form, Brian Goldner, Bennett Schnier and Brad Fuller (THR). Plantinum Dunes is currently under the remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and the sequel to the remake of “Friday the 13th”.

The ouija board has always been under much scrutiny over how the game works. With the possibility of the game actually bringing spirits out to communicate with the living, the film could be along the lines of an adventure to a suspense thriller, depending on which way the studios want to go.

What a great idea!! I don’t know how I feel about Bay being attached to it. Bay doesn’t scream spooky to me. This could end up being another “The Haunting”.
