Townsend leaves Thor
Almost every other week were doing reports on the newest person to be cast in the Kenneth Branagh helmed comic book adaptation Thor. This is not the case as Stuart Townsend jumps off of the high profile Norse god based superhero movie from Marvel Studios. Apparently he jumped off due to creative differences, and the only form of creativity that I could fathom he is talking about is more than likely just money. Now the actor is quickly replaced by acting newcomer Joshua Dallas, and for a great reason. January 11th marks the start of initial filming, and it would not be starting out on a good foot if suddenly a minor character in the story was without an actor to bring him to life.
“Thor” stars Chris Hemsworth in the title role, a warrior cast down to Earth to live among mortals as punishment for his reckless actions, which rekindled an ancient war in the realm of Asgard. Thor’s troubles continue after dark forces of Asgard are dispatched to invade Earth (THR). This official-esque plot synopsis sounds a lot better than the one that’s been floating around for awhile. The movie also stars Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddelston, Anthony Hopkins, Samuel L. Jackson and many others. The feature comes out under Paramount Pictures on May 6th, rather than the 20th due to the sudden change in scheduling thanks to the postponement of Spider-Man 4.

but but but… he was a great choice for Fandral..wtf???
