Tony Gilroy rewrites on Red Dawn

The Oscar-nominated writer/director of Michael Clayton and this year’s Duplicity, Tony Gilroy is now rewriting the script for the remake of Red Dawn. The film is being directed by Dan Bradley, who was the second unit director on the Bourne films, which Gilroy wrote.

The film has a release date of September 2010. Anyone else just got even more interested in this needless remake?
