Timberlake takes on a Bad Teacher
Singer/actor Justin Timberlake is the latest to join up on the cast for the new raunchy comedy Bad Teacher. Sony Pictures‘ official Twitter page just made the announcement, though no word yet on what supporting character he will be playing. The feature, directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, stars Cameron Diaz as a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague — a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher. The cast already includes Lucy Punch, Jason Segel and John Michael Higgins.
The Columbia Pictures film is already set to start principal photography this month in Los Angeles. The film has no set release date at the moment. You can hear Timberlake’s voice as Artie in the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film Shrek Forever After, or you can wait to see him in the live action realm in the David Fincher feature The Social Network based off of the creation of the popular site Facebook.
