Three more looking to be Bridesmaids

Dianne Wiest, Jon Hamm and Matt Lucas are the latest to be climbing on board the Kristen Wiig starring comedy Bridesmaids, reports Production Weekly. Those that are already in the cast include Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy and Ellie Kemper. Nurse Jackie director Paul Feig is helming the comedy written by Wiig and Annie Mumolo, centering on two women battling to plan their friend’s wedding party. The picture is already set for a May 12th, 2011 release date under Apatow Productions and Universal Pictures.

You can hear Wiig lend her voice to the character Miss Hattie in the Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures animated feature Despicable Me, set to be released in theaters on July 9th. Wiest not only was recently cast in A Big Year but also can be seen in the hit HBO show In Treatment. Hamm can be seen in his sharp outfits on the AMC series Mad Men.

Melissa Molina

I've been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that's always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning...or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor's degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
