Three more for The Convincer

Actors Alan Arkin, Billy Crudup and Greg Kinnear are all signing on to be in the crime drama called The Convincer. They all join up on the project that is directed and co-written by Jill Sprecher and Karen Sprecher. “The Convincer” follows a desperate insurance salesman whose scheme to get a hold of a rare violin leads to unforeseen consequences (Variety). Filming is set to take place at the start of next week with a to be announced 2011 release date.

Sprecher has worked on a couple of other projects with her name attached as writer and or director, a couple of them including Clockwatchers and Thirteen Conversations About One Thing. Arkin was last seen in the limited release of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and can next be seen in the latest Todd Phillips directed comedy Due Date. You can watch Crudup once more on a DVD/Blu-Ray of Watchmen or Public Enemies and Kinnear can be seen in the upcoming Paul Greengrass directed feature Green Zone.
