Third Batman could be shot in all IMAX

Submitted by Jon Peters on August 25, 2009 – 2:16 pm2 Comments

Remember how amazing those scenes Christopher Nolan shot in those IMAX digital cameras were? Drop dead gorgeous, and if you didn’t see The Dark Knight in the IMAX, then I’m very sorry for your loss.

Harry Knowles dropped a rumor over on his site, stating that Nolan could shoot the third Batman film 100% with those IMAX cameras. While probably just a rumor, that would be really cool. The limitations that those cameras bring, could prove troublesome, or unless, they are working on that now, while he works on Inception.

Only time will tell, but two quick things to take away from this rumor: 1) they’re planning a third film in Nolan’s saga; and 2) it’s assumed Nolan is directing Batman again.

Oh, how The Dark Knight sequel rumors continue…
